In Summary
The police statement that they have been in the hunt for the suspects indicates that concern over fake money in circulation has been rife for some time in Kilimanjaro, with many people falling prey.

There are many among us who want to earn a living – and even, get rich – without working. Instead of toiling like everybody else to produce goods or offer services in exchange for pay, some people have even the audacity to literally print cash of their own.
We have in mind people like the four arrested in Kilimanjaro Region over the weekend in possession of fake banknotes with a face value of one million shillings in Sh10,000 denominations. To cap it all, they were also seized with a machine with which to print some more!
The police statement that they have been in the hunt for the suspects indicates that concern over fake money in circulation has been rife for some time in Kilimanjaro, with many people falling prey.
Conmen, fraudsters, forgers and all manner of crooks out to make easy money will always be there in any society. Good citizens, therefore, must be on their guard lest they make life easy for such criminals. There is a need to make people permanently conscious of the fact that not every single paper money handed to them is a genuine banknote.
Everybody must remain alert whenever they receive cash, for crooks are known to make use of some dishonest bankers to penetrate their fakes into circulation. One cannot be too careful!
