Review Commission member Dr Edmund Sengondo Mvungi is stretchered into
Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam yesterday from Tumbi
Hospital in Coast Region. He sustained serious machete wounds in an
attack by six suspected burglars at his Kibamba Msakuzi residence in
suburban Dar es Salaam on Saturday night. Police sources say the
assailants demanded money from the Bagamoyo University senior Law
